TORONTO (CP) - An Air Canada DC-9 was involved in a collision Monday - with a deer.
The deer was killed when it was struck by a port wing flap as the 96-passenger jet, out of Moncton and Montreal, slowed near the end of a runway after landing at Toronto International Airport.
There was minor damage to the flap but the aircraft returned to service the next day.
(There is no confirmation that the menu for first class was changed for subsequent flights. - eds)
