Another departure for Dreams Take Flight - Montreal chapter. Very early on
Wednesday, Oct. 1, some very special children will be arriving at the
Dorval Base to board an aircraft to Disney World. This flight marks the 9th
departure for Dreams Take Flight, the employee driven initiative that
offers children who are socially disadvantaged or have physical or mental
disabilities the chance to enjoy a fun-filled day of enchantment and
entertainment. If you’re interested in volunteering early that morning or
that evening for the return flight, contact Don Haggart at
appreciated.

. Where are they now!
B737-200 C-GBPW c/n 20958 was the 391st built and delivered on January
13st., 19875, to Pacific Wester Airlines, later Canadian Airlines
International as fin 740. It also flew for America West Airlines as N128AW.
Purchased by Air Canada when CAI was taken over, and last served with Air
Canada in September 2001as fin 540 and stored in Vancouver Airport.
Sold to scrap dealer in Opa Locka FL . This was one of three 737s sold to
Blueside Metals in Opa Locka FL for scrapping. Broken up at Vancouver
inside hangar as unable to fly aircraft to Florida so Air Canada staff
broke it up in September 2002 and parts to be trucked to Opa Locka. The
remains of the fuselage of this aircraft were removed from Air Canada
property during the week of January 23rd 2003 and was put
on the south side of Vancouver airport
awaiting a barge to take it up the coast to become an artificial diving reef.
This will be the first airframe to be sunk on the West Coast of North America.

2 You will need copies of the Death Certificate. Ask your Lawyer if Will
to be probated.
3 Request forms from Canada Pension Office -- there is a Death Benefit
payable & also a "Survivor Widow Allowance" paid monthly. Phone
1-800-277-9914.
4 Check with Revenue Canada re final Income Tax Return for the deceased.
5 If your income is at acertain level you can qualify for a Guaranteed
Income Supplement through the Canada Pension Office.
6 Change Bank Accounts to your name.
7 Change RRSP,s to your name plus any other investments.
8 Change House to your name.
9 Change Car Registration & Insurance to your name.
10 Turn in deceased's Drivers Licence.
11 Change Visa & other credit cards to your name.
12 Inform Telephone Company of change of name.
13 Inform Provincial Medical Insurance.
14 If your spouse was a Veteran of WW11 "The Last Post Fund" will pay part
of the funeral expenses, if you qualify. Veteran's Affairs Phone #998-9460

15 If an accident was the cause of death- don't forget to check your
insurance policies.
